The Devotional - by Emmy

Emmy always is trying to model her dad.  We us my book for family devotions, so Emmy decided to start writing her own devotionals. She did it all on her own and then brought me her first day.  She wanted me to post it on our blog so here it is with her spelling and grammar.

 

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.  And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.  God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.  God called the light "day" and the darkness he called "night."  And there was evening and there was morning the first day.

 

We should try to wake up and be in a good mood.  And should be thankful to God that we lived other day.  You might not like mornings but be thankful.
